How Could You Love me?

Inspired by the book of Hosea

Verse 1:
How could you want me?
When I’ve broken your heart many times.
How could you love me?
When I’ve caused you tears from your eyes.
How could you want me?
When I’ve hurt you and left you behind.

Pre-cho:
But you ran after me.
When I’m after them.
Lovers who captured my heart.
Still called me your own,
When I’m all alone,
I heard you say to me.

Cho:
I want you.
I love you.
I’ll take you in, wipe your sins.

I want you.
I love you.
I’ll win your heart, back again.

Verse2:
How could you want me?
When I’ve lost myself many times.
How could you love me?
When I’ve told you many lies.
How could you want me?
When I’ve loved them and left you behind.
Pre-cho.

I’m Still Here

C-G-Am-F-G
Cho:
Coz I’m still here,
When the world has moved on.
I chose to be here,
And chose my soul.

Coz I’m still here,
When the world says go.
I’m in the quiet,
And God calls my name.

Verse 1:
This might sound so easy,
When the world turns around.
It’s when you stop and choose,
To stay behind.

I pray to be stronger,
To see it all go by.
When everybody’s passing you
And saying goodbye.

Cho.
Verse 2:
This might sound so crazy,
I’m always here for you.
When something breaks you,
It breaks me too.

I pray to be stronger,
To see it all by faith,
The cost of following you,
And the life I’ve gained.
Cho.
Verse 3:
Coz I might gain the whole world,
And I might lose my soul.
But I love my God more,
I’ll rather give it all.

Breathe

G-C-Em-C-D
V1:
I see your weary face.
Your brow and your tired eyes.
I see your falling tears,
Your failures and all of your fears.

Pre-cho:
I’ll take it all away,
And feel the warmth of my embrace.
And all I want you to do is just…

Cho:
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Come to me and I’ll renew your weary heart.

Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Come to me and I’ll give peace here in my arms.

V2:
I see your troubled mind.
Your wounds from all of the lies.
I see your hurt and pain.
Your weaknesses you try to hide.

Change my Heart

Change my Heart

V1:
Girl of Fifteen,
Broken heart from a broken dream,
Of a happy home.
Longed for love and just affection.

You hold her tight,
Told her it’s gonna be alright.
She just grew up,
And lost herself for just one night.

Pre-cho:
You strain for words
You don’t know what to say.
You forget your pains,
And compassion takes its place.
And you pray, and pray.

Cho:
O God,
Change my heart to become like yours.
A heart,
After your own.
To love,
The hurting and the angry,
The broken and the lonely
And love them like yours.

V2:
Girl in the closet,
Brokenness from a broken home,
Of a Father,
Longed for the father she’s never known.

You hole her tight,
Told her its gonna be alright.
She just gave up,
And tried to take her life tonight.

“Every day is a Chance to Die”

Romans 8:36
As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” [Psalm 44:22]

The Sun is up,
Another day is here.
I wish I wasn’t up,
I just wish to stay here.

But I rise from my bed,
I get ready instead.
I walk to my corner,
And my knees I bend.

I bow my head,
I ready my heart.
Another day is about to start.
And my life is about to end.

Like that Sheep to be slaughtered,
I get ready for death.
Death to all my doubts and fears,
Death to my future wonderings.

But along with it are my dreams and my plans,
Death even to my rights and desires.

So that for His sake,
Every day I die.
That I will no longer live….
And Jesus in me will forever come alive.
