Little Girl
don't Cry,
Everything's
gonna be fine.
You sit at
the corner of the cold bathroom.
You stare
at the floor,
Trying to
figure out if what you did was right or wrong.
With bleary
eyes, you cry out, "Why?"
Little Girl
don't Cry,
Everything's
gonna be fine.
You listen
at the shadows.
You listen
to the shouting of those you love most.
Trying to
rationalize who was wrong or right.
With hands
above your head, you cry out, "Why?"
Little Girl don't Cry,
Everything's gonna be fine.
Little Girl don't Cry,
Everything's gonna be fine.
You cower
in the middle of a circle.
You see
their rejected stares of the ones you called "Friends".
Trying to
figure out what you did wrong or right.
With hands
on your face, you cry out, "Why?"
Little Girl
don't Cry,
Everything's
gonna be fine.
Tell me how
can I be fine...
P.S: Written October 2010. One of those rough times when betrayal is very fresh and the wounds are still stinging.
